The Roulette Wheel

When I first started learning the art of Roulette it was imperative for me as a trainee dealer to learn the numbers sequence on the Roulette wheel. Knowing the numbers on the wheel as a punter is just as important as for a dealer or an inspector. It increases your chances of odds and your winning because complete knowledge of anything you are doing gives you an advantage over anyone else.

You will be surprised at how many punters, dealers and inspectors don’t actually know the sequence of numbers around the Roulette wheel, believe me, it’s a fact. Not even many of your seasoned professionals know the numbers, I find his very odd. How are you supposed to know the Roulette game properly, if you are missing this vital piece of information? If you can learn the numbers trust me, it will make you place your bets a lot quicker and give you a better chance. Many people try and look at the numbers on the wheel while they are playing, this distracts you from the game, and you will probably end up missing some numbers around the block you are betting.

The numbers on the Roulette wheel are placed in that sequence for a reason. To make the game fair for everyone. The numbers on theRoulette wheel are placed red and black, odd and even. This is easy to remember and the numbers are placed randomly around the wheel.

The easiest way to learn the numbers is to start from zero and split the remaining 36 numbers into 3 blocks of 12.

Start with zero and work your way around the wheel by learning the first block of 12 numbers:
0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, 25, 17, 34, 6, 27, 13

Once you have memorised the numbers and you can say them without looking try the next block of 12 numbers:
36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, 33, 1, 20

Then try the next block of 12 numbers:
14, 31, 9, 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26

Once you have memorised all 37 numbers in 3 blocks of 12, put them altogether and say them.

Learning the numbers on the Roulette wheel won't be easy at first, it’s like learning your times tables but after a while it will become second nature. It will make your gaming experience more enjoyable plus you will be one of the very privileged few who can actually do it which makes you even more professional than you already are.

When you know the numbers off by heart, just for fun, try saying the numbers backward! Now that’s an art in itself!
