How to Play Craps
Craps Odds Bets (taking odds)
These bets are placed on the craps layout underneath the point in the small strip. Once the point has been established, the player can place odds bets to go with their initial Pass Line, Don’t Pass Line, Come Bet and Don’t Come Bet. These bets pay good odds. The odds are based on your number being rolled before 7.

Craps Field Bet
A Field Bet is placed in the field bar on the craps table. This can be placed before any roll of the dice. The player is betting that 2,3,4,9,10,11 or 12 will be rolled. If the roll is 3,4,9,10 or 11 the bet pays even money. 2 or 12 it pays 2-1. If 5,6,7 or 8 are rolled the field bet loses.
Craps Hard Way Bets
A Hard Way Bet is placed on craps table containing the illustrated dice. The player is betting that that 4,6,8 or10 will be rolled before 7 in a double (2+2 3+3 4+4 5+5) or 4,6,8 or 10 is rolled in any other combination.
- Rolling a double is called the Hard Way or a Hard 8.
- Hard Way bets can be increased reduced or removed at anytime.

Craps Big 6 and Big 8 Bets
These bets are placed in the Big 6 Big 8 box on the craps table. The player is betting that 6 and 8 will be rolled before 7. Winning bets pay even money.
Craps Lay Bet
A Lay Bet is placed in the box above the number point. It will be covered with a lay marker to distinguish this bet. A lay bet is a bet that 7 will be rolled before 4,5,6,8,9 or 10. 5% commission is paid on a winning lay bet and is rounded down to the nearest dollar / pound / euro. The player can also bet a lay bet before the come out roll. These bets can be increased, decreased or removed at anytime.
Craps Buy Bet
This is the opposite too a Lay Bet and is placed above the number point. A buy marker to distinguish it will cover it. A Buy Bet is a bet that 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 will be rolled before 7.A 5% commission is paid on a winning buy bet and is rounded down to the nearest dollar / pound / euro. The player can also bet a Buy Bet before the come out roll and they may be increased, reduced or removed at any time.
Craps Place to Win Bets
Place to Win Bets are placed in the narrow bar underneath the point.
This is a bet that 4,5,6,8,9,10 will be rolled before 7.

Craps One Roll Bets
- Any Craps: 7-1
Betting 2, 3 or 12 will be rolled before 7. - Any 7: 4-1
Betting 7 will be the next roll. - Two Betting: 30-1
2 will be the next roll. - Twelve Betting: 30-1
12 will be the next roll. - Three Betting 15-1:
3 will be the next roll. - Eleven Betting: 15-1
11 will be the next roll.
Craps Horn Bets
With the Craps Horn bet you stake that 2, 3, 11 or 12 will be the next roll.
