About Casino Power Guide
I started working in the casino industry at the age of 19 when I was employed as a croupier for a leading casino chain in the UK. It was a whole new experience for me as I had never been inside a casino and I didn't know the first thing about gaming. I had always had a fascination with Roulette so I thought it would be a great career path.
I started an intense six-week training programme learning to deal Roulette and Blackjack. It wasn't easy, it was extremely hard work. There is a lot more to learn as a dealer than as a punter because you have to have knowledge in every aspect of the casino, from procedures, cash chips, denominations, layout clearance, mathematics, customer service, the list is endless and it wasn't until I dealt my first game that the real learning curve began.
I remember it well. It was a Saturday night. I was asked to deal a fairly busy Roulette game. To be honest, looking back I was extremely clueless. I knew that I had help, an inspector was watching me deal and helped me but my nerves were shot. It took me some time to get to grips with the games but I persevered and it paid off.
Over the coming months I learned so much about the games and the punters. I picked up many tips along the way, not only from my colleagues but from the customers also. In Roulette I learned about call bets, block bets, orphon bets, neighbour bets, voison de Zero bets, I also learned the entire wheel in number sequence and could add up bets quite easily, cash chip payouts became second nature. In Blackjack I learned all the playing strategies. I loved the whole experience.
After 16 months as a dealer I was promoted to a yellow licence inspector where I became in charge of all the games, dealers and customers alike. As an inspector I learned a greater insight into the customers and how they bet, watching from afar gave me an advantage and it was amazing how much I learned from the customers. Obviously they had had a lot more experience than I; they had been gambling in casinos for many years. As an inspector I feel this is where I really learned my trade.
After 8 years experience working in a live gaming environment, working nights constantly which became extremely tiresome I decided to focus my life on the new and up and coming online gaming casinos.
There are many advantages to gaming online. If you can handle a computer, know your way around the Internet and enjoy a wager, well now you can do it in the privacy of your own home. In a live gaming experience you do have the atmosphere, but not all gamblers want to be going out every night, perhaps now they can go to casino once weekly and spend the rest of the week gaming online. This is one of the major factors why online gaming has become so popular. When online gaming first started a few years ago it was mainly geared toward the experience gambler who had been casino members for many years. Now, with webmasters like myself I can pass on my knowledge to many people who might have been interested but could never pluck up the courage to join a live casino. Believe me, online gaming is very much the same, only that they offer their customers bonuses where as a live casino doesn't.
With my on-hand experience as an inspector in a live casino I feel it gives me a better outlook over other webmasters. I am here to help you the best way I can. Please enjoy your experience.
